The Valerion projector supports 21:9(2.35:1)and 32:9 widescreen content when connected to an external HDMI device (e.g., a media player, gaming console, or laptop). Currently, this feature is available for HDMI devices that trigger ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode). When playing widescreen content through HDMI, you can adjust the settings to fill your Cinemascope screen perfectly.
Important Notes:
- Game Mode Required: To enable widescreen support, ensure the projector is in Game Mode. You can activate this by navigating to Menu -> Picture Mode -> Game Mode and accessing the Game Bar for additional settings.
- Future Compatibility: We are actively working to expand widescreen support for all external HDMI devices in future updates.
However, please note that the projector’s built-in operating system, Google TV, is designed for 16:9 content. This means that while using apps or streaming directly through Google TV, the image will remain in a 16:9 aspect ratio and cannot be stretched to fill a widescreen format.
