🚀️The following applies to the Valerion Max & Pro2 & Pro & Plus2 & Plus
EBL (Enhanced Black Level) is our dynamic laser dimming technology that adjusts brightness levels to improve contrast in dark scenes. The difference between EBL Low, Medium and High lies in the aggressiveness of the adjustment:
Note: The EBL Medium level only available if your software version is V0000.01.00E.Q0718 or higher, if updated is needed, please check here.
EBL Low: This setting provides a less aggressive adjustment to laser brightness. It results in less visible 'pumping' (gradual brightness changes), making it smoother but may reduce contrast in some darker scenes.
EBL Medium:This setting provides a balanced EBL Low and High. It applies moderate laser brightness adjustment, keeps obvious 'pumping' under control while maintaining satisfactory dark-scene contrast, delivering steady image performance.
EBL High: This setting is more aggressive, leading to greater contrast by deepening blacks in dark scenes, but it might occasionally cause more noticeable brightness changes (pumping) as the projector adjusts to different content.
Recommendation:
Choose EBL Low for a smoother, more consistent image if you’re sensitive to brightness changes. For maximum contrast in dark scenes, EBL High is ideal, though it may be slightly more noticeable during scene transitions.
